Dear colleagues,

It is my great pleasure to invite You to the EP Serbia 2019,  The First Conference of the Working Group on Electrophysiology of the Cardiology Society of Serbia, that will take place in Belgrade, Hilton Hotel, on 6-7 June 2019.

EP Serbia 2019 is international Conference with 15 visiting lecturers from the most respectable EP centers from Europe and from the region.

The aim of the Conference is to bring together, leaders in the field, and present the most recent trends and updates in arrhythmias, clinical and interventional electrophysiology.

The target audience are primarily practicing electrophysiologists, cardiologists, internists, fellows and residents, as well as allied healthcare professionals, so we tried to carefully tune the program.

Sessions will be dedicated to electrocardiography of arrhythmias, pharmacological antiarrhythmic therapy, oral anticoagulation therapy, inherited arrhythmia syndromes. Topics in the field of interventional electrophysiology will cover atrial fibrillation, supraventricular tachycardias and ventricular arrhythmias. Sessions will be oriented to clinical practice and moderators will be encouraged to make conclusions with clear take home messages.

Young electrophysiologists will present the most interesting cases from their EP labs.

The newest technologies from the arrhythmia mapping and catheter ablations will be presented and some of these technologies you will be able to see and try with your hands in the exhibition hall.

I particulary invite You to fascinating lecture: “Cardiac anatomy for electrophysiologists” by Prof. Sew Yen Ho from Royal Brompton Hospital, London, UK, with comments of interventional electrophysiologists Dr Sabine Ernst.

EP Serbia 2019 has a support of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) and we have a great pleasure and honour to have Prof Hein Heidbuchel, the President of EHRA with us.

Prof. Heidbuchel will open our Conference with a lecture: “Recent trends and future directions in cardiac electrophysiology”.
