  • Trans-fats reduced to a complete minimum and <1% of total energy input
  • <5g of salt per day
  • 30-45g of fibrous foods daily, preferably from integral grains
  • ≥200g of fruit per day (2-3 servings)
  • ≥200g of vegetables a day (2-3 servings)
  • Fish 2x per week
  • 30g of unsalted nuts
  • Reduce alcohol to 2 glasses per day for men and one for women
  • Influence the reduction of sweetened drinks
