- Do not measure the pressure using a "bracelet" - the apparatus around the wrist
- Sit in a quiet room 10 minutes before the measurement
- The arm at which the blood pressure is measured should be supported and the cuff should be at the heart level
- two or three measurements are performed with a space of 2 minutes and the medium value is taken
General recommendations:
- Do not measure blood pressure often
- Do not do the correction of the therapy alone, but in consultation with the doctor
- Take the therapy regularly
- medicines are not a substitute but an addition to lifestyle changes in the treatment of hypertension
